The Culver City Police Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to a single, vital mission: supporting the incredible men and women of the Culver City Police Department. While city budgeting handles baseline department operations, our foundation focuses on taking care of the actual individuals who wear the badge and work tirelessly to protect our community.

Our agency stands as one of the most effective, professional, and highly trained law enforcement organizations in the country. Our personnel represent a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds, and we take immense pride in our cultural diversity and deep commitment to inclusion. Our department members undergo regular, comprehensive training in communication, implicit bias, problem-solving, and sensitivity to ensure we are fielding the finest, most progressive law enforcement officers possible.

The Foundation steps in to ensure these dedicated professionals have a strong support network behind them. By funding initiatives that boost morale, foster camaraderie, and look out for officer well-being, we help maintain a safe, secure, and supportive atmosphere for our personnel so they can best serve the residents and businesses of Culver City.

How We Support Our Officers

Through the generosity of our community donors and fundraising events, the Foundation directs its resources toward programs that directly benefit department personnel:

Officer Wellness & Quality of Life: Funding upgrades for station amenities, shift-level resources, and physical recovery tools to support our officers' health and daily comfort.

Camaraderie & Athletic Teams: Sponsoring department sports teams, internal competitive events, and collaborative initiatives that build strong, lasting bonds across all ranks.

Family & Morale Support: Providing a safety net and helpful resources to assist department families during times of unexpected hardship or major milestones.

Recognition & Appreciation Programs: Sponsoring annual awards, retirement commendations, and internal events to honor the hard work, daily sacrifices, and profound dedication of our sworn and professional staff.
